Delray Marketplace Music Fest: Your Fall 2026 Boca Bridges Guide

Delray Marketplace restarts its free Wednesday Music Fest one week from today. Shows run 6 to 8 p.m. every Wednesday from October 7, 2026 through April 28, 2027, at the amphitheater near Burt & Max's. That's 30 Wednesdays in a row. The schedule has a second clock that matters just as much for Boca Bridges. FDOT's current notice for the Atlantic Avenue work between Lyons Road and the Turnpike allows lane closures only from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. The road crews' window closes an hour before the concert starts.

For a community on the west side of Lyons Road, about a mile north of Clint Moore Road, the GL Homes stretch of Lyons between Atlantic and Clint Moore is the home corridor. This fall, that corridor has its own weeknight calendar, and the road work running alongside it has nearly reached its finishing stage.

The Road Has Reached Its Finishing Stage

The Atlantic Avenue reconstruction started January 20, 2025. FDOT lists a $26 million budget, OHLA-USA as contractor, and Summer 2028 as the completion date. In August 2025, WPTV reported that crews were rebuilding the median at the Atlantic Avenue and Lyons Road intersection. Thirteen months later, the work on that stretch has moved on. The September 25 to October 2, 2026 notice lists one eastbound and one westbound lane between Lyons Road and the Turnpike as possibly closed on weekdays for final striping. Between U.S. 441 and Lyons Road, it allows one lane closed in each direction for the same work.

Striping is the lane-marking work. It doesn't mean the project is done, since the official finish is still about two years out. It does mean the notice in effect this week doesn't list any turn restriction or sidewalk closure at the Lyons and Atlantic intersection itself. The sidewalk detour in this week's report is on U.S. 441, between Atlantic Avenue and Saturnia Isles Boulevard.

Here is what the finished intersection will look like, according to FDOT's project page:

  • Three eastbound and three westbound through lanes at Lyons Road and Atlantic Avenue
  • Dual left-turn lanes and single right-turn lanes
  • Atlantic Avenue widened from four to six lanes between Lyons Road and the Turnpike
  • Continuous 6-foot sidewalks and 7-foot buffered bike lanes in both directions from U.S. 441 to east of Lyons Road
  • An 8-foot sidewalk on the westbound side from east of Lyons Road to west of the Turnpike
  • Fiber optic cable linking the corridor's traffic signals

One more closure applies this week only. Palm Beach County's report for September 28 through October 4 lists periodic FPL utility work, with eastbound right-lane closures on Clint Moore Road between State Road 7 and Lyons Road. That notice expires before the first concert. Both the county and FDOT reissue these reports every week, so check the current one before relying on any closure detail.

Eight Wednesdays Are on the Calendar So Far

The center has posted performers through the end of November. The rest of the season is marked "check back for updates."

Date Band Billed as
October 7 Happy Daze Band Oldies, '50s and '60s
October 14 The Prymates Classic rock and more
October 21 Doubleback The best hits of the '80s
October 28 Mischief Party and dance, hits of today
November 4 Don't Stop the Music Doo-wop, Motown, disco and classic rock
November 11 Whisky Six Band South Florida's favorite local country band
November 18 Retroflyte '60s to '90s hits
November 25 Dance Party 3X Disco and R&B hits

A few dates line up with the rest of the calendar. Mischief plays October 28, the night before the center's Halloween event. Dance Party 3X plays November 25, the night before Thanksgiving. The lineup starts with '50s and '60s oldies and moves through '80s hits, a country night and a disco night, so the genre changes almost every week through November.

The center asks guests to bring a chair or blanket. Seating is up to you. The center also notes that events can change without notice, and questions go to [email protected].

Dinner Fits Between Five and Six

That hour between the end of the construction window and the first song is when dinner happens. The center's current directory lists these restaurants as open on Wednesday evenings:

  • Burt & Max's Bar and Grille, next to the amphitheater
  • Batch Gastropub
  • Lucille's Bad to the Bone BBQ
  • Terra Fiamma
  • Ganzo Sushi
  • Dos Amigos Tacos

For dessert, Menchie's Frozen Yogurt lists Wednesday hours until 8 p.m., the same time the music ends, and a newer option stays open until 9. WhatNow reported in July 2025 that a Yonutz! Fantastical Donuts & Ice Cream was planned for the center, with no timeline yet. The center's directory now marks it "Now Open," without an opening date. That makes it one of the few new things on the property since last season's concerts.

On a rainy Wednesday, Hooky is the indoor option. The directory lists it with IMAX screens, in-theater dining, bowling, arcade games and a restaurant and bar.

Halloween Moves to Thursday, October 29

The center's free Trick or Treat runs Thursday, October 29, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. It's for kids 10 and under in costume. There will be pumpkins, face painting and crafts hosted by Divine Savior Academy. Parents need to stay with their children for the whole event. The rain date is Friday, October 30. The list of participating businesses hasn't been posted yet.

The timing is close to the construction window. Trick or Treat starts at 5 p.m., the same hour the posted weekday lane closures end. Because it's on a weekday, a family coming from Boca Bridges for the start time would be driving at the very end of the window FDOT published for this week. A later notice may list different hours, so check the October 29 week's report before you go.

What the Calendar Hasn't Announced

The holiday season isn't on the schedule yet. The most recent Holiday Happenings listing on the center's event page is from November 15, 2025, with a tree lighting, Santa, crafts and a train. No 2026 date has been posted, and there are no December performers yet. Expect December updates to appear on the same page as the Wednesday lineup.

If you head east on weekends, the Delray GreenMarket returns to the Old School Square campus downtown on Saturday, October 24. It runs Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. through May 22, 2027. Saturday mornings downtown don't overlap with the Lyons Road calendar, so both fit into the same week.

The first concert on Lyons Road this season is Happy Daze Band playing '50s and '60s oldies at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, October 7. The posted lane closures between Lyons Road and the Turnpike end at 5.

When the work on Atlantic Avenue is finished, the Lyons Road corridor gets easier to reach from both directions.
